Electric Ireland announced a freeze on gas prices (from October 1st) and a moratorium on disconnections (for the duration of level 5), whilst SSE Airticity announced a freeze on gas and electricity prices for the duration of the winter.

Suppliers have stated that if customers are having problems paying bills they should call their supplier to discuss payment options.
